Clark Island delivered a garden sanctuary for Leah and Devin to celebrate their special day. With amazing 360° views of Sydney Harbour the happy couple were given ultimate privacy bounded by family, friends and the sea.
Suited to the location, the whole day had a nautical theme with the groomsmen and bridal party dressed in blue to match the harbour surroundings. The guest of honour was the couples blue-eyed baby boy Caelan, who arrived with the bride by ferry. As we drew closer to the island I noticed lots of details in signage, such as ‘welcome to the wedding’ and ‘always and forever’ written above the wooden arbour, combined with the bouquets of bush flowers these created a very welcoming atmosphere.
What I loved about this wedding was the small number of guests created very chilled out, easy-going vibes. Leah and Devin organised a bunch of picnic rugs, food, games and even supplied thongs for everyone to kick off their heels and relax after the ceremony!
Clark Island itself was a dream location, with every angle having a special feature to photograph. The jetty was an interesting stand for the bridal party to take some group photos, with legs dangling off the edge. The array of trees, greenery and city backdrop gave the photos a sylvan charm.
The day then concluded at the Golden Barley Hotel in Enmore where the laughs and smiles continued into the evening.
